Project Named as Finalist in National Awards

11 October 2017

The Beechworth Surgery’s project to engage its clients on the introduction of a fee policy has been named as a finalist in the national public relations industry awards in the small budget category.

Fishbowl PR Director, Birgit Schonafinger said she was pleased the Surgery had given her the opportunity to help with the project, which involved informing patients of a new fee for concession card holders and engaging them to shape the new fee policy.

“I’m always delighted when organisations, big or small, understand the benefits of giving their stakeholders opportunities to provide input into how they operate. I congratulate the Surgery for having their efforts recognised as a finalist,” she said.

There are eight finalists in the category, with one other also from Victoria. The Victorian award winners will be announced on 18 October and national Public Relations Institute of Australia winners on 9 November.
